Welcome to Collective Moments – Photography by Laura Olson

Laura is a second generation photographer.  She was introduced to photography at a very young age by her father and his  love of the art. She primarily uses digital, but has a substantial film background with darkroom experience. Her photography captures emotions, expressions and moments – past and present. Laura was born in Texas and is now living in the Minneapolis metro area.

Laura has developed and honed her love of photography through training at the New York Institute of Photography and is currently pursing a degree of Fine Arts. She has a strong background in a variety of subject matter including, but not limited to weddings and event photography.

Photography has evolved from a lifelong hobby to an expressive lifestyle. Laura enjoys producing images for people that not only preserve their moments, but capture the emotion, expression and essence of what was. She recognizes that these photos are your memories and will work with you to make them something you will always cherish. She also believes preserving memories should be affordable and professional.
